Completion of the following components will lead to Confirmation, or an Adult Profession of Faith, in the Spring of 2012. Formal confirmation classes for adults and youth grades 7 and up will be offered during the fall of 2011 and winter of 2012. In addition, it is also possible to undertake a program of self-study.
Completion of the following components will also lead to Confirmation in the Spring of 2012.
Participants, adult or youth, will be required to:
- Attend 6 sessions of one of the bible studies or programs.
- Volunteer at least once at the St. Andrew's Sunday Suppers and write a short reflection or statement about the experience.
- Read one of the four Gospels, plus a theological book (Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time; The Heart of Christianity) both by Marcus Borg, and discuss with Russ or Martha.
- Meet with one of the ministers.
