Saint Andrew’s has an ongoing commitment to the vital work that is carried out by the Brunswick Street Mission. One expression of our commitment is the preparation and serving of Saturday morning breakfast several weeks each year. It is a great opportunity for members of the Saint Andrew’s community to join together in fellowship and service.
St. Andrew’s Meal-A-Month program for Brunswick St. Mission. We will be collecting non-perishable food and cash/cheques (payable to Brunswick Street Mission) on January 20, 2013. Cheques should be payable to Brunswick Street Mission.
Brunswick Street Mission has a Food Bank to assist those in the inner city. Cheques, payable to Brunswick St. Mission, or cash are always welcome. We ask if you are including a cash/cheque donation in with your bag of groceries, that you put the cash/cheque in an envelope.
Brunswick St. Mission is a mission of Halifax Presbytery. Donations and Fundraising account for over 50% of its income.
There are three ways to support it:
- The annual Brunswick St. Breakfast..watch for details coming this fall.
- Use PAR for regular givings, forms available at the church office
- Year of Caring...a Christmas or Birthday gift idea
