Completion of the following components will lead to Confirmation, or an Adult Profession of Faith, in the Spring of 2011. Formal confirmation classes for adults and youth grades 7 and up are usually offered every other year. It is also possible to undertake a program of self-study. Completion of the following components will lead to Confirmation in the Spring of 2011
Participants, adult or youth, will be required to:
1) Attend 6 sessions of one of the bible studies or programs.
2) Volunteer at least once at the St. Andrew's Sunday Suppers and write a short reflection or statement about the experience.
3) Read one of the four Gospels, plus a theological book (Meeting Jesus Again for the First Time; The Heart of Christianity) both by Marcus Borg, and discuss with Russ or Martha. (see list "B")
4) Meet with one of the ministers.
